Welcome to the Erie Ski Club

The Erie Ski Club has a 40 year tradition of fun dedicated to skiing, fitness and the outdoor life. Our club thrives on it's members participation in trips in the U.S.A., Canada, and abroad In addition we also offer discount passes to local ski areas. Our ESC Race Team, headed by Mark Signorino, is small but competitive. Click the Racing Site link above for more details. The off season finds us enjoying golf outings, picnics, horseback riding, and cycling activities. The first Monday evening of each month (except June - August) finds us at BrewErie at Union Station enjoying each others company and a few beverages followed by a short meeting.

Notes from the President

Welcome to December!

Every year as I count down to the start of ski season I have the same mental checklist:

  • Send the skis out to be tuned
  • Go to Akron and see the latest Warren Miller film (and eat at Spaghetti Warehouse).
  • Ramp up my exercise program.

    • Admittedly I am having trouble with the last one. I did, however, finally get the exercise area in the basement set up and down-loaded a ski specific punishment - I mean exercise - program. So rest assured, when the time comes for the big hills, I'll be ready. If I can get off this couch…
